Well this sucks, shows me not to wait. I was going to wait to turn in my Emblems and use the party items for the bonus at 8 am today. Looks like I can't do that now. Well this really sucks I wish I would have known...I figured the drops and the turn in were suppose to happen on Friday then event Saturday-Monday...I guess someone got mixed up. I hope they at least give a double party bonus for a day and bring the collectors back for a bit so I can turn in this crap.

Lighten up, it's 3am in the morning and no one's at work at ArenaNet.
I'm sure they'll rectify things in the morning, you know, when people start work.

Just a programming error with someone putting AM instead of PM I'd guess.... Hopefully ANET will correct this when they get into work and extend it for the rest of Monday at least.
Kind of ironic that Gailes final event screws up... Bon Voyage Gaile

Well we deserve a compensation.
At least to add the remouved time.
Everyone made plans accordingly to the announced schedule ,but this is not somthing that Anet trouble.
It seems to me that 5 milions is too big shoes for Anet.
We will remember towards GW2.

It did start 12 hrs early, so I dont see what the big deal is. Im sorry for the folks that went out and spent a bloody fortune on the stuff needed to max a title, but it was pritty clear to a lot of folks that if it starts early, its bound to end early. So, you have no one but yourselves to blame if you find yourselves now broke. Should have paid more attention to the happenings then thinking you were gonna get an extention to the intended time. With this said, why are so may people cussing A-Net when A-Net actually DID stick to the deal, just a bit earlier on beginning and end then was intended. Get over it.

I'm thinking they should extend it another 24 hours. Will they? Probably not.

The frog started right on time. What was said in the description was that the frog would be coming from 12pm PST-Monday 12pm PST. The collectors and drops were suppose to start on Friday.

And why should they have to say something? Its not like they have to have our permission to do something...
If they want to change the time, they can.
Why cant people just be thankful for what they DID get, instead of always bitching about what they didnt get?
And you are probibly right, its more then likly not the reason, but cant we wait to find out what the reason is before we start complaining?

The big deal is even if it did start early (which i'm not so sure about), not everyone knew about it, and many were expecting it to run for another 12h and made plans accordingly.

Wow. I usually avoid criticizing Anet like this. But wow. First they bring out the celestial pig miniature which only benefits people who for whatever reason kept multiple regular pig miniatures or those willing to pay 30k for each one. Then they say there will never be a double party animal points event so people went ahead and consumed what they had. THEN they have this double points thing. THEN it ends early for whatever reason. What's next? Will they tell us we have 60 days after GW2 comes out to get titles and put them in the Hall of Monuments, but suddenly delete the entire GW1 world after only 20 days before everyone's had a chance to bring their titles to GW2?

Because we got less than we were suppose to get, the cup is half empty not half full. It's not very good of a company to do something like that to it's customers, if we had pre-warning I would not be complaining or caring in the least cause I would have got done what I needed to get done and everyone else would have known about it. But no warning just plooph. I'm pretty sure they'll do something though so I don't think they suck or anything. They usually come through when crap like this happens.
Just gotta wait for the work day to start hah. Oh yeah and that dude that keeps saying Anet go to hell makes me roffle for some reason.
